headed 12 miles at a 200 degree heading from oceanside harbor. At sun rise just about ran over two sleepers. Then spent all morning chasin Marlin crashing on small schools of bait. We saw at least 20 different fish during the day! More marlin then I have ever seen in local waters before! Better then any trip to the east cape! We had two different fish in our pattern, we had drop back baits in place, these fish would not take our offerings. We put bait in front of other fish, they were feeding but not on macks or sardines. We trolled for half of the day no luck, the fish are there, there feeding but ?????? getting them to bite is another story. Water temp was 66.7 to 67.2 the fish were easy to see and get too.

Good luck
Tony
