"Good news bad news"

Couldn't go last week and Mike my fishing partner called up with some bad news. Seems he was picking up some bait up at MDR and sucked some plastic into the intake. Burned the power head. He's checking to see if it's covered under his insurence. If so He's thinking about selling MAX his 25 Hydra Sport and using the money plus insurence to buy a new 21 to 23 foot Center console that we can trailer up and down the coast. I've got really mixed feelings about it. We've been fishing that boat for about six years now, and it's been a really great boat. Rides great really dry: I'll miss it. Mikes already suggested I might pick it up, but I've got a lot on my plate right now. He's willing to give me a good deal though

Anyway looks like we're in the market for a boat. any info would be good. He been looking at a Wellcraft and or maybe a Century. I've not been paying that much attention lately. What's out there and who's the best to buy from. He's going for something new. Any advice would be helpfull.

Tight lines Jim

Max in better days.
