John, Looked at the Maycrafts myself prior to buying an Albemarle. They seem to be very well built, just don't pack all the frills. A little history for you. Maycrafts are built in Carolina by Ken May, prior to that he built Kencraft fishing boats, and prior to that he was half owner of Sea Ox boats.

I fish every weekend in the Maycraft 19' center console. Great boat for a no frills and easy to clean hull. Good luck, I don't believe you will be disappointed.

Good stuff: I had no idea they were conected to Ken May of Kencraft. Looking better and better.
