(knock knock) Is this thing on?, posted by Joe/GA on Sunday, 18 April 1999, at 7:08 a.m. at Green Grouper Some local party boats are making 2 trips/da catching salmon to 24 lbs again off Half Moon Bay (20 miles SW of SF). Boats are getting their limit (2/person)quick and returning by 10am both trolling and mooching. The trollers are doing better. The salmons are feeding on krills (1/2" shrimps) which give their flesh the pink color. Fishing depth is 40' or less. the ocean has been flat calm and foggy in the morning.
