Hey,

I know what you mean and always have such in the back of my mind. I do use an electronic shark repellent device, but have to keep it turned off in order to draw the sharks in close enough to tag using a specially modified speargun which can administer tags. Also, the shark which usually gets you is the one that you don't see, and the Shark POD doesn't always repel well(especially in baited situations like in the middle of chum slick!):
