~ML looked at Ahab and then to Semeness. Although the pride was small now, she was sure that by the coming of spring, cubs would be running around. ML licked Boone's face, making sure he was clean. She smiled at her work and began to groom her front and back legs. Once she was clean, she stood up and walked to the mouth of the cave. She breathed in some more fresh air, the cave air was musty. ML quickly walked back inside the cave, the sound of rain was deafining, and water had splashed onto her face. She sat beside Boone, crossing her front paws and raising her head level with his. She was an Alpha now, part of a pride. She had a mate, and a new life coming towards her. Never had she been so happy.~
