*the old mare watches as her daughter emerges, a new colt by her side, she sighs, how handsome the little thing was, if a bit weak at this point, she nickers softly to both, wishing to see the newborn, she remembered when Riah herself was a filly, tiny but strong, as she looks upon the two a wave of sadness over comes her, this was her stallion's legacy before her, his daughter and grandson, she swishes her tail, she too wished to have a foal, but she would wait eternally for her stallion*


*the mare whinnies proudly to her mother, leading her colt along by her side, the young thing wobbles and falls down sometimes, but eventually makes it there without mishap, the older mare reaches down to sniff the colt, nudging him softly, after which he flops in the grass, mare gives a nicker towards her grey dam, laying her head on her mother's back, the family enjoying their moment together*
