LOL! I looked at the title for a long time and something did not seem quite right about it, but I couldn't figure it out.

But you know, whenever people saw Uncle Bog by his still and asked what he was doing, he did say he was inventing a new way to churn butter ;P

You got me thinking . . . they should make a "Christy" cookbook! Of course, with suggestions for alternative ingredients, possum not being readily available in most grocery stores. I've actually always been really curious about the gingerbread. I don't think I've ever had any other than what my mom made, and I think she got her recipe from my grandma, so it would be Mennonite. I always have to have equal amounts whipped cream and gingerbread, too :) Anyway, I wonder what "Cove gingerbread" tastes like?

- i think the "Christy" cookbook would be a fantastic idea Brittany! ... 'cept i think i'd have to pass on the possum recipe! eewww! :) the gingerbread sounds delicious though!

- i'm gonna have to pull out the "Christy" vid's again and find Uncle Bog's "butter churn" invention ... somehow i missed it on the first "go 'round" ... guessin' maybe i was too focused on the "Doc"?! :)
- BC :)
