BC, What a gift! I love it! I missed the eclipse as I was in a very wet Las Vegas. It was my first time visiting and at least I discovered that it has little to offer me. I much preferred my trip to Central California and Yosemite last summer. Although I didn't eat any bugs in Vegas, I do think I caught one. My friend Stephanie was coming down with a cold and I fear she shared it with me.

The best part of the trip is that Steph grew up in Hawaii and I guess Las Vegas is the #1 spot for Hawaiians to vacation so she kept showing me all of this great Hawaiian stuff. I think I ate more rice, Portuguese sausage and Spam than I've eaten in all the rest of my life all together!

I heard there was to be an eclipse and was so sad everything was all clouded over. Oh well, it probably was at home too. It was especially exciting that it happened on the winter solstice. I wonder what my Druid " ancestors" would have thought of that!

Keep an eye out on the board for something special from Vegas. Its still in the luggage, but I think you'll get a kick out of it! Made me laugh!

It's so good to hear your voice 'round here again! :)
I'm glad you liked the video!

The rice and Portuguese sausage sound good!
But, I'd have to pass on the Spam ...
I've eaten my share of "mystery meat" - as my brother called - when we were kids!

The Hawaiian aspect of the trip sounds "very cool" though!
When I think of Vegas, I think of Wayne Newton and Don Ho - "Tiny Bubbles"! :)

Re: the Druids ...
“Some archeologists believe that Stonehenge - the mysterious arrangement of enormous elongated stones in England - is actually a crude effort by the Druids to build a computing device."
So, there's telling what they'd be up to by the light of a "neon red" moon?! :)

You've got me curious about the suprise?!
I'll keep an eye on the board!

And, I hope you and Stephanie are feeling better soon!
- BC :)
