"I've learned so much since by that character resonating, reverberating and just plainly refusing to not be a part of my existence going forward."

Could you delve a little further into this. I am not quite sure I understand.

Thank you Stewart for replying. Just to be able to say thanks and know you 'heard' it really means a lot. I have spent a lot of time the past few weeks trying to understand what it was about the series that so deeply moved me. It was more than just watching a 'good' movie or show, it spoke to me, to the me inside of me. I feel this longing in me now, this need to 'fill' some part of me, or expand it rather. I'm not really sure how to express it in words, but I feel as if some part of me has awakened. I am sure when you play a role as an actor, surely the character must become a part of you in some ways. Especially when you play the role for a long period of time. I can't imagine that 'Mac' isn't a small part of who you are, as well as all the other roles you have played. Even though the character is essentially born through you, through your acting, I could still see how small parts of them would carry over and become a part of you. I know that by watching, the characters very much became a part of me and have awakened this need in me, this desire to be the person I was meant to be, to really open myself up to others, to be kind, to love others openly and without restraint, to make my life count for something, to reach out and make that 'act of faith'. I am not sure yet what 'it' is, but with time I'll figure it out and I have a feeling I will be a better person for it. All I know is it led me here, to you, and for now that is enough. Sorry for rambling on. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to read my post and reply. I look forward to getting to know you in the best role you have ever played, you.
