in this next clip ...
these are two of the "old lady's" three "kids"!
*hey reda! do they look familiar?!
*the third "kid" / middle son - who is a broadcast engineer(having great wisdom) respectfully declined when asked to be a part of the production! :)
*seeing as he's a "pro" and all! :)
besides, the "assignment" for the "instructional technology class" required the video to be an "amateur" production! :)
one more time ...
this "take" is a little better 'cause "hoppity" didn't appear to be "hogging" the scene quite as much! :)
Have a great weekend!
with love from the "old lady" - BC :)!
* who has now thoroughly embarrassed herself! :)
but, if it makes ya smile ...
I've accomplished my goal!

Hi Diane!
That would be me ...
taking the class I mean! :)
geez, I wish I'd of known last weekend that you guys are "pros"!
I could have used a few pointers!
Man, talk about being "out of pocket" ...
I had no clue what I was getting myself into when I signed up for this class.
I told my instructor that I felt like a someone in a "horse and buggy" trying to get on the "interstate"!
So far, I've learned to create a blog, a "portaportal," a classroom website, and now I'm entering the realm of video production!
Our discussion question this week was to give a few examples of - in regards to technology - how the classroom of today differs from when I was in school?!
Well, considering I graduated in '75 - I was able to cite more than a few examples?!
"Videos" back then were 8mm films projected via "reel to reel"! :)
Re: the temps?!
Yep, we 'fired up" the space heaters in our house!
Camping? Yikes! I'm not ready for winter! And, camping in temps below 60 degrees should be reserved for polar bears and the likes!
But, I was baptized ...
in a lake ...
in the middle of October ...
and, my Pastor held me under the water a little longer than I expected 'cause he wanted to make sure it "took"! :)
Going under wasn't nearly as bad as coming back up!
A wet robe, cool temps, and autumn breezes do not make for a good combo is BC's estimation!

Btw, that is my husband who has the degree in instructional technology, not me! :-) He works doing video production / dvds. He's available anytime to answer questions!

Thanks Diane!
I kinda figured out that "DH" was in reference to the "Dear Hubby" instead of Diane after I re-read your message the second time!
sorry 'bout that!
And, thanks for the offer!
I might be sending some questions his way later on down the road!

No. 1 son is somewhat accustomed to performing before a live audience (Fine Arts major) ...
so he was "unwillingly willing" (after he found out I had already "drafted" him) to assist me with my homework assignment! :)
Did you get my message via Facebook?!
Thank you for everything!
with love from, BC :)
