Subject: Thank you, veterans and your familes!

God bless our soldiers and veterans! Thank you for your service and your families for their sacrifices.

Personally, I thank my grandpa, Huston C. Sims, Sr. (ARMY), for service in World War I; cousin Marine Cheney (ARMY)for your ultimate sacrifice in WW II murdered, along with other POWs, by German soldiers; cousin Ron Maxey (AIR FORCE) for service in Vietnam, Uncle Robert Kinion (ARMY, World War II in Europe and Purple Heart recipient), Paul Redinger (ARMY in Europe and Purple Heart recipient) & Donald Cheney (ARMY at Iwo Jima) service in World War II & several great-grandfathers away Patrick McGuire service with General George Washington at Valley Forge. Finally, Ricky Bennett U.S. Marine Corps corporal from Girard, Kansas, killed in a helicopter accident near Al Taqaddum, Iraq in 2006, 25 years old.

"Greater love hath no man than to lay down his life for his friends" (and country)! And that goes to our ladies serving as well.
