Subject: Started the photo page

http://christyhuddleston.net/images.html I'll hopefully add more images by the end of this weekend. I've wasted so much time trying to pursue the map page idea I just decided to put my energy on the image page for now. The map may never happen but the image page is do-able. Just click on the image to enlarge and see text details on the picture.

I like the page, though my favorite outfit on SFM is the bishop collar shirt that is tan. Either that or that brown knit sweater you see him in only one time at the hanging. Good autumn colors on him. I can see him sitting by his fire, puffing on that pipe of his with apple cider brewing on the stove.

I can almost smell the damp earth of the river, mixed with the acrid thick smokiness of the burnt wood blowing out of the chimney.

Can you tell I live in the area?? Yeah.....I love it here in the mountains. That is one thing I never got a lot of in Michigan growing up---mountains.

My favorite thing to do growing up was visit my grandparent's house in Rose City--yes the granny who had the tonic-- Their cabin was in the woods just above a lake.

I would get up early, and go out onto the porch and watch the sunrise with them as it came up over the lake. There was such a stillness there among the trees, birds and other creatures. Almost as if everyone was waiting to exhale----and then the sun would peak over the horizon everything would begin to chatter away.

If I could pick one thing I love the most about nature, it would be the wind. I love the wind. love it, love it, love it. I love feeling it on my face, feeling it spray me with rain, feel the warm breeze caress my cheeks and warm me and yes I even love the briskness of a good noreaster as it wakes me up.

When we went camping my a river recently, I laid there at night, just listening to the water going by us and the rustling of the tree leaves above. There is something magical about that sound, I think. Theraputic, if you stop long enough to hear it.

Ok----I am rambling now---guess the NYQUIL is working--thus the reason why I have not, nor will probably ever drink. You guys can have it. NYQUIL is my limit.--Hope it works this time

You sound like a kindred spirit as Anne would say. I love nature and the sound of birds and water running within a creek. And I've never touched alcohol well except in cough syrup. One of my hobbies is just photographing the out doors and all the wild life. God is a beautiful artist. His word is simply the best!
