Subject: stress
Hi there,
I know I don't visit much anymore and that's due to a variety of reasons. Mostly the fact that my internet is pretty much gone so I have to get on where and when I can.
Anyway, to avoid making a novel, I'm gonna ask if you'd please pray for me. I'm under so much stress I can feel it doing things to my body. There are situations going on here that aren't getting any better and I think removing myself from the situation is the best and pretty much only option for my health. So, if you would, please pray that I can get out of it ASAP and the quicker the better.
I really do feel like I'm about to have a breakdown or lose my mind and it's really scaring me!

There is a verse I found years ago ...
In fact, as an adult ...
it was the first verse I committed to memory ...
and, it has stayed in my mind and in my heart ever since!
Yep, there have been a lot of challenges (to put it mildly) ...
a lot of challenges since that day!
but, an under-current of peace has been there as well ...
admist all the "waves" crashing in and around me ...
to the point where I felt like I was going to "drown" ...
"go under" ...
and, never recover!
There has always been a light of hope for me whenever I pray and search the Scriptures for guidance.
I keep praying, and I keep reading until I find something which seems to speak to my situation.
In doing that, the under-current of peace seems to remain steady - regardless of whatever else is going on around me.
No, I'm not boasting ...
I'm just thankful that it's available and there for me ..
and, it's there for you!
My prayers will be with you -
more importantly ...
the Lord will be with you!
Please keep trusting Him to guide you!
He loves you Neeney! He knows right where you are, and He knows where you need to be!
Best thing is - He is right there with you ALL the time - regardless of where you may be?!
Keep your eyes focused on Him!
The verse to which I am referring?!
John 14:27 ...
"Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you; not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
With love from, BC

Neeney,
Been there, done that, and know what you're going through. Will definitely keep you in my prayers. I think about you more than you know and I'm sure all the lady's here will agree that you are missed when you don't come around.
God bless you.

A sincere offer ... --
BC, 09:49:34 08/11/10 Wed
If you are considering a fresh start ...
in a completely different location ...
maybe you should consider TN?!
You would be more than welcome to stay at our house for a month or so ...
we always need bus drivers in Wilson Co.
the training is free, and the pay is good.
Supplemental income?!
Mapco is always hiring!
In fact, you could ride to work with me on the weekends.
After you got about a month, and a few paychecks under your belt ...
we would help you find a place to call your own!
Most of my "kids" are about your age ...
they have lots of friends ...
we know some other good ladies about your age ...
possibly introduce you to a good roommate to share in the expenses?!
Again, it's a sincere offer!
Not that I have all that much, but what I do have ...
I'm willing to share!
with love from, BC

My thoughts are with you. Be strong. Many of us have been to that place you inhabit. Hold tight and allow yourself to move through it.

Neeny, I have this quote on the board by my computer . I added a picture of a woman with her arms outstretched toward the ocean as the sun rises. I often read it when I'm feeling unsure or very stressed and it helps me feel more secure. It reads...
When you have come to the edge of light that you know
and are about to drop into the darkness of the unknown,
Faith is knowing one of two things will happen:
There will be something solid to stand on, or you will be taught to fly.
Stay strong and I'll keep you in my prayers during these trials.

Neeney,
I hope the lyrics of the following song, sung by Celtic Women and the poem help. You are in my thoughts and prayers. God bless.

Footprints in the Sand
One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonged to me and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of trial and suffering.
"When you saw only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."
