Funny, but as I was looking up last night theMark twain quote came to mind. I love the part where Huck compares the stars to frog eggs.

"It’s lovely to live on a raft. We had the sky up there, all speckled with stars, and we used to lay on our backs and look up at them, and discuss about whether they was made or only just happened. Jim he allowed they was made, but I allowed they happened; I judged it would have took too long to MAKE so many. Jim said the moon could a LAID them; well, that looked kind of reasonable, so I didn’t say nothing against it, because I’ve seen a frog lay most as many, so of course it could be done. We used to watch the stars that fell, too, and see them streak down. Jim allowed they’d got spoiled and was hove out of the nest."

[> [> [> [> A "Hop"-pothesis ?! :) -- BC, 06:24:36 08/14/10 Sat

OK Lou ...
I've been "pondering" ...
travelin' along with Huck Finn on his "train of thought" ...
Re: "galatic" frogs
I have a "hop-pothesis" in regards to the celestial phenomena known as "black holes" ...

According to one definition I found ...
"black holes" are ...
a "cosmic body with gravity so intense that nothing, not even light, can escape" ?!

Now let's keep in mind one certain "bullfrog" ...
and, the vast "gape" which occurred when opening his mouth ...
This "bullfrog" has a very "magnetic" personality ...
wouldn't you agree?

Anways ...
Imagine this "bullfrog" stretching forth his tongue to capture a passing fly?!
*flies don't stand a chance with this guy ...
especially at dinner time! :)
the "force" which "draws them in" is simply too powerful for his "victims" to escape! :)

To "ponder" even further ...
think of the large "vacuum" which would occur even during those times when he is very sleepy ...
about to "bed down" for the night ...
and, he "yawns"?!

Suppose all these stars ...
being "frog eggs" eventually hatch into a giant "celestial bullfrogs" ?!
A frog has to eat doesn't he?!
Spacecraft, aircraft and the people in them ...
might appear to him as passing "flies" ...
or, "dinner ala carte"?!

Again, I'm just speaking "hop-pothetically" here ...
and, you must keep in mind ...
my "scientific peers" are primarily kids ...
who think that riding a big yellow school bus is "kinda cool"! :)

Alright, it's time to go to work!
Have a great day!
and, take time to "ponder" the possibilities!
- BC :)
