And also throw in that the Superbowl is watched more for the spectical then the game. Consider, the main event by most people (non-football fans)choice isn't the game it's the halftime show and the commercials. Throw in that Football season is shorter, you have less games then baseball so more people will watch it due to small attention spans. This is not to say that all football fans have limited attention spans, but rather they have less games to worry about. Throw in the cheerleaders, and the mascots, and the fact that football is only 4 quarters rather then nine innings, plus extra innings, and the game (without the timeouts, and halftimes, and other breaks)is actually faster then Baseball.

Another reason why the World Series doesn't bring in as much is due to the fact that most people assume that it will come down to the more "expensive" teams (Yanks, Mets, etc.) then the regualar teams. Another factor is that Baseball has a lot of games, more then any other sport in the US. Consider also that by the time the Worldseries is playing, most people are gearing up for Football, and don't watch. Throw in that, as I stated in my post's title, Fans are bitter and fickled. When our team is pushed out of the runing we really don't give a horses rear who is playing in the game, all we know is that we didn't make it. I watch for the most part until I become disgusted with the commentatiors who rip apart the loosing team. (In 98 when Fox was hosting the Playoffs, and they were at Wriggly they kept indicating that the Cubs were going to loose, and prasing the other teams. Which I found highly annoying.)

There are no "Star" commericals, or "Half time shows" at the world series, just nine innings of the game, and that's it. No pizaza, or such.
