It's a huge leap to call that terrorism and put it on par with crashing planes into skyscrapers and killing thousands. The terrorists themselves believe their cause to be noble, but they are in fact warping their own belief system to do so. The tea party wasn't terrorism; it was a peacful demonstration against an oppressive power in a more civilized time. A saner time. nuclear weapons? chemical weapons? the times are scarier and the stakes are higher. waiting 12 years was a mistake. waiting longer would be a bigger one.
