Subject: Time for the quarterfinals:

The matches are set for this coming weekend:

1) Brazil-England
2) Germany-USA
3) Senegal-Turkey
4) Spain-S. Korea

The winners of (1) & (3) will play each other in the semis, as will the winners of (2) & (4)

Two possible rematches from group play: Brazil-Turkey (C) & USA-S. Korea (D).

Two groups bereft of teams after the Round of 16: G & H.

Of the eight teams in the quarters, 4 finished 2nd in their group (Senegal, USA, Turkey, England). Also, 4 have never been this far in the World Cup (Senegal, USA, Turkey, S. Korea).

Any other miscellaneous info desired? :)


Personally, I'm hoping for a USA-England final. We shall see.
