Twist ties are bloody annoying, and Hasbro just loves to use them.

My advice is to buy yourself a pair of [b]tin snips[/b]... when it comes to opening toys that are heavily tied down with twist ties, they're literally jaws of life. Just open the toy, snip away, and you're done; one snip per tie - beats the hell out of using scissors.
