Should have read this sooner...I didn't know plans were being made for my vehicle like this already...

X-Men 2, while it should be good...well, you can't very well see previews for a movie that hasn't been filmed yet.

-_-

The only recent news on that one lately was the addition of two new writers (Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty, I believe). Few other tidbits:

* Reportedly, there are about 50 mutants total making their debut in this movie. These include, of course, cameos and such, not main characters.

* Nightcrawler, Jubilee, Iceman, and Angel are four confirmed mutants set to play prominent roles in the film. This may change, though. The script seems to be going through more rewrites lately, and they may wind up cut. There have been casting calls and such recently for the four roles, trying to fill their shoes.

* Colonel Frank "123" Davis. Apparently, Kevin Dillon has been cast in the movie (as Davis), but despite seeing this several places, no one can confirm it. Take that with a grain of salt.

* Not seen Blade 2 yet, but Luke Goss (played one of the baddies in the film?) has been in negotiations to appear in X-Men 2.

* The movie has a tentative title, apparently. X2 (RE: X Squared).

Marvel has a few more properties ready for Moviedom, Dark Star, that you missed: Sub-Mariner (just received a writer), DareDevil (Movie's already been half-cast), The Hulk (Same as DareDevil), and Punisher (Pre-Production, no casting).

As for the Matrix...Aaliyah's replacement for the movie has been confirmed: Nona Gaye. And the release date is Memorial Day, 2003. Hope that clears that up, NOVA...

Hell, I could go on forever about movies here, so methinks I'll quit. But...yeah and stuff. There ya go.
