(*OK, I'm switching Dickie-V mode off now.*)

Thppt! My Ohio State Buckeyes made the tourney. They got the automatic bid by winning the Big Ten tournament, but would have made it in as an at-large anyway. Not bad for a team that was supposed to finish middle-of-the-pack. Jim O'Brien rules!

In addition, I have about nine other teams to root for:

Teams from the state of Indiana: Notre Dame, Indiana and Valparaiso.
Teams from the state of Ohio: Kent State, Cincinnati, Xavier and of course Ohio State.
Big Ten teams: Indiana, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Michigan State and Illinois.

While Gonzaga got jobbed with being given only a #6 seed, the team that got treated the worst by the committee was actually Butler. Sure they didn't have a tough schedule, but when they did play teams from top-level conferences they rose to the challenge, beating Washington, Purdue, Ball State and Indiana, each time on the opponents' court or a neutral site. Actually, Ball State and Bowling Green also deserved to go. Dangit! I should have three more teams to root for!
