I did get the "you're too old for that" when I was younger--during my later teen years--but oddly enough now that I'm undeniably an adult there's a lot more tolerance for it. Go fig. :)

Its because that during your teen years, people think that your acting immature and that you will grow out of it pretty soon. But now that your an adult, people finaly consider a serious collector.....

As for me ,when people learn that I'm a transfan, my answer is always the same: What is the difference between that and collecting Stamps, coin, dolls or whatever you feel like collecting ?

Most people dont seem to care about me being a transfans they just consider it unusual but they find it okay.
