Subject: Weather

Today, October 12, it was 73 degrees in Buffalo. Nine years ago, I had called my Steering Committee to tell them the Thruway was closed and
Erie Co. was virtually closed. The leaves were on the trees and we had
many, many inches of snow overnight. Power was out for over a week
and literally thousands of trees were destroyed. I was finally able to get
out and walked in just as the class photos were about to be taken. It was
a glorious moment. Did I mention that it was 73 today? Yup! The temps will plunge tomorrow into the 50s and within a week, the high will be 47.
Here comes winter!!!!
