A innocent fer me is a player that had a misshap with a mob or pks and we find his gear on his body.This we should try help return.
If its an enemy we killed its up to the CLOWN what he wants to do with the gear:)A enemy to CLOWN or a known slayer of innocents (pk)has in me eyes forfeited the gear but if it cant be traced to a innocent previous owner we should try return it to the innocent.
Example 1: we find a body south of CLOWNterritory,noone around so we loot the body before it decays or someone else loots it ,then we try find the poor victim and hand him his gear.
Example 2: We fight reds, killing em and start to loot em.Suddenly a ghost appears, we rez the ghost and he/she tell us his/her sad story how the pks killed the poor soul just before we arrived and the pks looted everything.We then try sort out the gear that belongs to the poor victim and hand it back. The rest is up fer the CLOWNs involved what to do with.
Example 3: We fight enemy guilds and manage to win the day, the loot is ours and ours to be split between the fighting CLOWNs.Once in SHADOWs and also CLOWN Order it was a standing order to always loot weapons,regs and bandages asap so the could not get back into the fight in a jiffy.The rest we looted when the battle was won.CLOWN Orders left their runes but that was in the old days before runebooks.

I use UO as an example since most of us played there but it will work almost the same in the world to come.Hope this cleared my meaning and dident muddle it more :) Safe Travels
