I've heard the same complaints from a lot of people on the AC2 forums, but only from people who played the beta.

There's been a lot of work done on the game since then, and people are complaining a lot less.
The best thing is, the changes made in game are decided on the offical forums - the dev team actually takes notice of what the players like/dislike and change the game accordingly.

They have an offer on at the moment for old players to come back for 2 free weeks, I honestly think if you try that you'll see a big difference.

As to UO being the best - no question there - it's just getting a bit boring now, all feels a bit 'been there - done that'
There's no question about whether we'll ever go back to UO - we will, it's just a question of when.
