I can easily accept that a higher inteligence might be at play,what I can not accept is that any human could have any knowledge of how the universe was created and life on earth for that matter when there was no one around to witness the process,we can speculate and write books about it which is how religions came about.Why can we not admit that we are just not intelligent enough to have any way of remotely knowing how it all started,the best we can do so far is to say that it started with a big bang at which point all the laws of physics come to an end.
And if we can not figure out how it all started how can we expect to know the nature and purpose of this higher intelligence and assuming that this higher intelligence wanted to communicate it to us he would find it as difficult as us trying to explain the Internet to a gold fish.
The truth and the facts will come out soon enough when we die,in the mean time the best relationship I can build is with my fellow man,to try to be loving and kind because it is in my nature to do so and to have no fear and realize that when I make mistakes I can learn from them.
The cure for our poor world is not more ignorance (dogma) like the past but a better intelligence in the future.
