My great grandfather was Rueben Cleveland of Chicago, IL. He was in business with a Mr. "Russel". The business name was Cleveland and Russel, if I reecall correctly. I ran across some early Chicago city council meeting records that indicated that the firm had submitted a bill-I believe the amount was $50,000-for manufacturing/installing windows and doors in Chicago public schools. The year was around 1870+/-.
