I need your help please. I believe that SARAH CLEVELAND (born abt 1794/95 in VA or Georgetown, Scott County, KY- d bef 1841Fountain County, IN) who married MARTIN SMITH and lived in Scott County, Kentucky is an unidentified daughter of MICAJAH and SARAH (WHALEY) CLEVELAND. I have three reasons – 1) None of the seven daughters of MICAJAH and SARAH were named SARAH after the mother. 2) the 1810 census in Kentucky lists a female 10-15 that is otherwise unidentified. 3) The Cleveland and Smith families lived in close proximity in Kentucky and there are no other Cleveland families in the same area in the 1810 census. 1810 Kentucky Federal Census Micajah Cleveland 12010 2131 1 male under 10 (Alvin) 2 males 10-15 (Charles, James) 1 male 28-44 (Micajah) 2 females under 10 (Rebecca, Hannah) 1 female 10-15 (Sarah?) 3 females 16-25 1 female 28-44 (Sarah Whaley) Your thoughts please. Sarah Smith is not listed in the "Cleveland book" as a daughter of Micajah, but it makes sense to me.
