There is new research available on Moses the Immigrant.

Scroll down to the last entry on the "Notes" tab.

This information is from Thomas Lechford, Esq.'s notebook and other sources. It establishes the family of origin in England and many details on Moses' early life and the story of his immigration.

This paints Moses as an unusual character in early Colonial Puritan Connecticut. He was not a puritan when he immigrated, nor was he of independent means, yet he was prosperous in New England, lived a long life, and left many descendants.
