I am descended from Larkin Cleveland as well. My line Goes LArkin Cleveland --> Oliver Cromwell Cleveland --> Carter Walton Cleveland --> Elmina Harrison Cleveland. That is where the Cleveland name ends in my line (Elmina married Nelson J. Fuller).
"The Genealogy of the Cleveland and Cleaveland Families..." by Edmund Janes Cleveland and Horace Gillette Cleveland states that John Cleveland's wife is Martha Coffey. I understand there are some errors in their work though. I don't have evidence of John's wife one or the other. If his wife WAS Martha, I do have further information on her parents though.
If you have not been to the Bibb County, AL GenWeb page recently, you might want to check out the cemetary section. There are now pictures of several Cleveland graves -- look at Sandy Chapel Cemetery and Centreville Cemetery. The picture of Eliza Cleveland's grave at Centreville emtery is an error -- it should be listed under Sandy Chapel.
I went to the Georgia Department of archives recently and took my new toy with me -- my digital camera. :) I have pictures of several deeds that Larkin Cleveland was a part of. I also have pictures of pages from "Deeds of Franklin County, Georgia 1784-1826" Abstracted and Compiled by Martha Walters Acker. There are records for both Larkin Cleveland and Oliver Cromwell Cleveland in this book. I would be more than happy to e-mail copies of my pictures to anyone who is interested.
