I'm also a distant cousin as the Moses Cleveland born in 1811 is my GG grandfather and I have pictures of him, his wife, Margaret Whitney and their 1st son Marcus, my G grandfather. If that is the Moses you are interested in (there were at least 3 of them) let me know and I'll send the pictures.

Was your Moses born in Kentucky or Indiana? If so, I would be interested to know if you have anything on a brother Ezer D Cleveland born about 1809. I don't know who the father is.

It's nice to have so many relatives! It was last night that I learned that the Clevelands go way, way back. I was tracing my mother's side of the family, she was Doris Jones (Cleveland). Her father was Anson Cleveland, born in Kansas in 1900. His father was Frank Cleveland who came from Illinois and shows up in a Mason county Washington State census of 1910 as 45 years old with 4 children. Frank Cleveland's parents were Amazia Cleveland, father and Harriot Elizabeth Cleveland (Rice). They had 10 children. From there I need the 3 Volume CD set to trace any more. There are many Clevelands here in Washington State. Our big annual Cleveland reunion is held the first weekend in August at the Lewis and Clark State park south of Olympia.
