My ancestry as I understand it is: William E. Judge (Myself) b. Longview, WA (1938) m. Dorothy B. Heyworth Me. William E. Judge (My Father) b. Lawrence, KS (1907) m. Roma Gay Leaming Family Knowledge Bertha Blanche Cleveland (My Grandmother) b. nr Sheridan, WYO Terr. (1886) m. (1) Theodore P. Judge Family knowledge. Ezra Aaron Cleveland (My G-Grandfather) b. Lee Co. Iowa (1839) m. Margaret Gilbert (Fortney) (Ezra) Aaron is shown in the 1850 Lee Co. Iowa census. He is shown as age 11. It is known that he commonly went by his middle name "Aaron". Ezra's first wife was Mary Quinn in 1865 in Van Buren Co. (Marriage record exists) Marriage license from Brown Co. Kansas for Ezra A. Cleveland and Maggie Fortney (ne Gilbert) exists. Ezra died in a Military Hospital in Leavenworth Kansas in 1920. Zedekiah Cleveland (My G-G-Grandfather) b. Salem, NY (1810) m. Ann Ware From page 761 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. The marriage to Ann Ware is listed in the Michigan Territory Marriage Records Book #1 but the name is spelled Zeaidiah. Aaron Cleveland (My G-G-G-Grandfather) b. Salem, NY (c. 1780) m. Dorothy Stone From page 760 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. Benjamin Cleveland (My G-G-G-G-Grandfather) b. Rhode Island, (c. 1744) m. Margaret Hopkins From page 310 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. Deliverance Cleveland b. Rhode Island, (c. 1722) m. Hannah Baker (or Barber) From page 151 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. Palmer Cleveland b. Kingston, RI (1688) m. Deborah Gardner From page 76 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. Edward Cleveland b. Woburn, MA (1664) m. Deliverance Palmer From page 47 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. Moses Cleveland b. England (c. 1624) m. Ann Ware From: Chapter 1 of the Cleveland Genealogy by Cleveland and Cleveland. All of the above information was compiled by my mother, Roma Gay Leaming Judge, from public records and the Library in Salt Lake City. My concern is to find out if the line from Moses through to Zedekiah is accurate. I have nothing to go on other than copies of pages from what I believe is "The Genealogy of the Cleveland and Cleaveland Families" by Edmund Janes Cleveland and Horace Gillette Cleveland.
