Subject: God Ginrai with Super Parts

BigBadToyStore posted a preorder for this a couple months back-

His initial price was $200(US), but halved that when he managed to obtain twice his initial order. The set is for the parts plus a boxed God Ginrai reissue. He recently put this page up, upon getting the kits in-

Mine arrived yesterday. The parts took about 20 minutes to assemble. Most of the work is in the arms. The kit uses the toy's own guns, with holes in the new fists. The fists have gun handles molded in. The wings are a definite improvement... if you could even call Godbomber's tiny things "wings". The feet can be attached with tape or glue. I find it best to disassemble the Prime head, remove the bottom piece, and plug it into the body as normal. This gives the new head a better place to sit.

The cannon has a peg which simply fits into a groove between Prime and the trailer. The downside is that by removing the arms, you won't be transforming this thing anytime soon. But the arms look better. They do not screw on, but the hole for the ratcheting shoulder is tight enough that they don't need to. The shoulders will ratchet, but the softness of the material means pulling the arm off and repositioning is a better choice.

I would like to see more such TF part kits come out. A "Rebirth" accurate Scorponok head, or a "Rebirth" Cerebros, would be neat. An Ultra Magnus backplate would also be nice.
