I just read "Golden Age Tick #1" today and noted that a German soldier, when he sees a brigade of superheroes rushing his position, exclaims "Was is dast?"

Well "dast" isn't a word in German. If he had left the "t" off, he would have said "What is that?" which would have been appropriate.
