Yup, that is the BM Obsidian mold.

It looks nothing to what I have seen of the Armada series an I know nothing about repaints in the RID line. I would be thinking that this is more of a fan-repaint and being sold as a proto-type though its may not be. The problem I see with the selling of proto-type is that what is being sold may not be the real thang.

Anyway, I usually see these proto-type actutions out before the real toy is out, I would be wary of this one, seeing how it's based off a pre-existing mold.
