I don't care if Merkur was Ford's "out of space" division. The bottom line is that Merkur is just a Ford Escort with different badge on it.....PERIOD! What makes it even worse is that these Merkur (Ford Escort) owners claim they are German cars... then they try and dress them up like Jap cars. They should really just realize that they have an over priced American Ford Escort. If they want a German car they buy one. If they want a "rice mobile" then they should buy a Honda and put type R badges all over it and put on a few of those stickers that they think adds 50 HP. Then they could top it off with a nice coffee can exhaust system and a wing on the trunk that I can dry my clothes on.

PLEASE!!!!! Take your Wannabe Euro cars and put them in with the American rides and stop polluting the Euro category with that trash.
