Boy, did I start something?

My point as I was trying to make was this. It doesn't matter what you do to a BMW318, its still going to be a sedate motor. The most exciting thing in it is probably going to be the stereo. As for Z3 roadsters, unless they are M-class (which very few are) they are also a waste of prime space. There are so many about, is it worth spending time trying to grade them?

My point about US cars is this. They are probably the worse handling cars on the planet. (This stems from having too many straight roads) Most 'well to do' Americans drive European cars for their overall performance. NOW that does not include all your sooped up versions that you take so much time and effort over. I have no doubt that they do perform well. If it is only in a straight line. But these are highly tuned one of a kind cars. Unless you clearly indicate this, we have no way of knowing.

BTW I drive the Tuscan. 4.2L straight six. 202mph top speed. 0-60 in 3.9secs. Standing 1/4 mile in 30secs. Its a standard production model car. No tweeks, and it corners. Probably why John Travolta bought one instead of a Mustang.

Perhaps you could join me in my fight to rid the site of 'cars without charisma'.
