De ble trolovet 1. påskedag i Strøm kirke, og forloverne tolker jeg som Anders Aagaatrud og Gunder Saugness. Samme dag som de giftet seg hadde de dattera Berte til dåpen. Faddere var Haagen Siøbrend, Tosten Glomsaas, Mari Brynilsrud, Ingeborg Sutterud og Berte Ile.
