Subject: Møllere fra Kåtorp/Gålås til Follebu i Gausdal.

To brødre Jens og Ole Halvorsen kom til Follebu i 1820 åra. Det vites ikke om de kom samtidig.

Muntlig tradisjon vil ha det til at de kom fra Kåtorp, men det hevdes også at de har forbindelser til Gålås.

Begge ble møllere i Follebu på møller 1 km fra hverandre.

Begge ser ut til å ha hatt koner født i Hedmark (Vang og Furnes ?).
Jens f. omkring 1792 var gift med Kirsti Eriksdtr, født omkring 1790. De hadde en datter Else født omkring 1820 i Vang. Det neste barnet ble født i Follebu i 1822, så Ole kom trolig i 1821.

Ole var født omkring 1803 og gift med Ingeborg Eriksdtr (vites ikke om Kirsti og Ingeborg var søstrr), muligens født i Furnes i 1802. Ser ikke ut til ha barn født i Hedmark, alle kjente er født i Follebu.

Jens har stor etterslekt i Follebu.

Takknemlig for alle opplysninger om familien og forfedrene (og gjerne etterkommere av søsken i Hedmark) for disse to møllerne.
