Hello Lorene.
Vinger bygdebok 3 page 141-141 + 146 tells a little about this family.
Arne Arnesen born 04.30.1829, died 03.02.1868, married 1855 to Karen Sørensdatter b. 03.30.1825, d. 07.11.1870 lived at Vraana, but they were both born on the farm Haakerud.
Their children were:
1. Gudbjør b. 27.april 1855, d. 3.march 1858
2. Bodil b. 22.november 1857
3. Gunder b. 7.july 1858
4. Anton b. 22.november 1859
5. Kristian b. 18.september 1861
6. Martea b. 11.april 1863
7. Edvard b. 9.july 1865
There were no Soffie, but Bodil has the same age. Perhaps she is the same person ?
As you also can see, both parents died when the children were young. The children were raised in other families, probably relatives or neighbors. None of the children is mentioned as married. A look in other sources will probably tell more about this family.
