Subject: Etterslekt til Ole Nielsen på Holte i Stange, Hedmark, f. ca. 1759.

Jag söker etterslekt til husmannen på Holte i Stange. Han är född c:a 1759, kallas vid vigseln i Stange (1790) OleNielsen Dale; gift med Berte Gundersdatter (f. 1760) från Sörholte. De hade barna Anne (1791?), Johanne (1794), Niels (1795), Olav (1797) och Marte (1799?).
Sonen Olav känner jag gott till. Han blev soldat i Oslo, vid Akershus ridende jägercorps. Hans kompani förlades utanför Stockholm år 1821. 1827 flyttade Olav, som då kallade sig Olav Holter, in i huvudstaden och började som lärling hos timmermannen H J Saether. I april 1827 gifte han sig och i september 1830 föddes sonen Johan (Frans Ludvig) Holter - min farfars farfar. Modern avled i koleraepidemin 1834, fadern blev också sjuk och Johan togs in på Allmänna barnhuset i Stockholm. År 1836 flyttades gossen till en fosterfamilj i Ströms socken i Jamtland, han bildade familj och har en ganska stor ettersläkt i Jamtland idag.
