To whom it might interest.
I am looking for descendant of:
- Per Olsen Bovold(-en) born May 18. 1885 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway (The emigration papers say May 10. 1885)
and his brother
- Olaf Olsen Bovold(-en) born December. 17. 1882 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway.
Their parents lived at the farm Bovolden and therefore had Bovolden as their surname.
Their parents were: Ole Olsen Bovolden born August 02. 1847 – December, 23. 1930 and Eli Persdaughter born April, 24. 1846 - Mars, 01. 1921 in Trysil, Hedmark, Norway.This is what I know about Per and Olaf.
-They emigrated:
In 1909: Per Olsen Bovold. He left the April.24.1909. with the ship: "Montebello", agent "Bennett", “going to Minnesota. To earn money.” He was registered 22.04.1909 in Oslo. In 1910: Olaf Olsen Bovold, He left with the ship: "Aaro"; agent "Victor R". going to Minnesota. To see his brother”. He was registered 23.05.1910 in Oslo.- Per died by drowning in the spring some years before 1940.
- They had a petrol station in Minnesota.
- Olaf has been in Norway.
- They had Tree sisters and brothers who got a family:
- Ole Olsen Bovolden born April, 10. 1875 lived in Trysil, Hedmark
- Martin Aas born May, 10. 1877 lived at Bøn in Eidsvoll, Akershus
- Elise Bergkvist born May, 09. 1879 lived at Vallset, Romedal, Hedmark. ( She is my grate grandmother.)
On the next pages I have some pictures which I believe are related to Per and Olaf.
Please help me.
