To any Webtv user that adores Laura Ingalls Wilder: We have a new discussion group at
alt.discuss.clubs.public.arts-lit.books.angelscout if you are interested in checking us out. We discuss Laura's books she wrote, as well as others about her life & lifestyle. We really need tried & true Laura fans to stop by. Open to children and adults who love all things Laura.

Concerning Farmer Boy as the book of choice right now, I found it the most boring of all her books even though we did get insight into young Almanzo's life. He would grow up to live to be 92, by the way. Remarkable, isn't it? The chores he had & the horses he broke was really his life.
It seemed he admired his father a great deal & they would remain close all his life. I loved the "Parlor" story best of any told in this book & I hope everyone finds their own tidbits of enjoyment along the way. Have a blessed time learning about young Almanzo & stop in & see us. We'd love to have ya. Thank you. Angelscout
