Hi, I am not from your area but athe standard is that a neuropsychologist can help with diagnosis learning disabilities. I am always amazed at how hard it is to get help for dyslexia...so few people know what to do...heartbreaking..

Ask your doctor to refer you to a neuropsychologist. If they do not, or you do not have a doctor, maybe try http://www.pbida.org/ the pennsylvania branch of international dyslexia organization. They may be of use in directing you.

On facebook there is a dyslexia group filled with dyslexics and parents of dyslexics who are VERY Supportive they help me alot through tough times. They are informed and hopefully can help.

I know how hard it is to get help but keep trying, eventually someone will find the right help for you. You can also call local counselors or psychologists ask them if they can help or know who can. Evenutally you will find someone.

The one things people without learning disabilities forget is that the coping with difficulties without help causes ALOT of stress and fatigue.

If all else fails look up neuropsychologists yourself and ask them how you can get tested.
