Dear Ryan,
Either you practice chiropractic or you don't. The problem here resides in the fact you believe that chiropractic is something else than locating and correcting subluxations. Health is an internal process, unique and special to each and every individual. To force a modality or manipulation upon someone to achieve a reduction in pain or other type of symptom is to put the belief that you know better than the innate wisdom of their body that that specific sensation is wrong.

Chiropractic has a lot to offer this world. Should you choose to put as much time and energy into discovering chiropractic as you do into learning other healing arts, other than chiropractic (such as physical therapy, massage, accupressure, nutritional therapy, clincial kinesiology, applied kinisiology, reiki, etc...), you will be overjoyed with the fact that yes the body is self healing and self regulating and through chiropractic alone you will have a lot to offer the world. Let others be experts at other things. Be the best chiropractor you can be.

Miles Mitchell, D.C.
