Our office always makes insurance companies and attorneys pre-pay for records and reports. Just watch out for the newest thing, some attorney are asking their patients to get their own medical records to try to avoid paying those fees (even though they eventually come out of the patient's pocket). Regardless of who requests the records, always get pre-payment.
