Hi steven: i have been off meds for about 5 months, so far it was ok, i quit cold turkey and had no major withdrawals, i had been on them for about 6 yrs. Although Im pretty sure anti-depresants do not solve the issue i do believe they help, im actually thinking of going back to meds, the first few months seem ok but then it hits you. If you decide not to continue with medication just make sure you have help of a doctor or at least therapy to lean on. :) Just my experience..wish you well.
