Subject: Need help for my daughter

I am very scared for my adult daughter, who is currently overwhelmed by life, depressed, and has feelings of hopelessness. She is 28 years old, has a high-power job in advertising, recently separated from her boyfriend of 10 years, and is spiraling downhill. Although she has always been very small, she currently weighs 82 pounds. She has major stress at work, a major re-modeling project going on with her house, cannot make friends easily. She is a perfectionist, and is very isolated from everything except her family. We have all tried to be supportive, but we don't know how to make her better. She goes to weekly therapy, but I don't know if the therapist realizes how bad she really is. I believe that she has had this problem in some ways since she was a child, and I wish that I had tried to help her then. She is extremely intelligent and talented. But she cannot deal with her life, and she does not know how to reach out to others. I literally fear for her life. There is, of course, much more to this story, but perhaps someone out there can think of something that we haven't tried. I did not know if this was the place to look, but would also like to be directed elsewhere if anyone knows of a place that I can receive direct assistance. Thanks...
