It sounds like you been doing this for a long time! I appreciate the advice for waterbugs. I think we do have the smaller american cockroaches here as well. I had an infestation in an apartment I lived in when I was about 18. More than once, I woke in the middle of the night feeling something lightly scampering on my face. When half asleep the reflex is to swat/smash. But then comes the realization that you have bug goo over your eye, nose and a little around the mouth!
