I think with mass media and universal publications, our worlds have become so much smaller. Everything we once thought we would never see...we can see on TV, or take a low cost flight and visit some where in person.

Children and parents are inundated with everything there is out there to own, have, purchase, must have to fit in to society. And with everything there is, within 30 days, there is something bigger and better. Technology rules our lives and has become the tool in which to guage our lives accomplishments. But in all of this advancement, we are leaving behind family values and the need for spirituality.

When I was a girl, having a doll was great, then having one, that you could pull a string on and she could talk, then of course the one that had the bottle that looked like she was drinking...well, then you were loved!!!!

Nothing changes...not really. But in the rush to be successful, family time...is a rarity. I myself, used to love to watch tv with my brothers and sisters after school and laugh about stuff. Now, my neices and nephews are so busy online and playing video games, they don't carry on a long meaningful conversation with their siblings...and forget the parents!!!
